Thanks for the clarification.leeleehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17659647396847327564noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21876673.post-36000053795738587292007-02-12T08:15:00.000-05:002007-02-12T08:15:00.000-05:00Hi leelee!! The Monster is in.
To answer your question about my question where I questioned the questionable attitude of "parents" um...where was Me goin.....?
Oh yeah Me is back on track, Me thinks. America goes out of it's way to "assist" Iraq with attaining freedom, but has ignored the cries for help from other countries. Were we truly being altruistic???
Me think that's what me meant, but me ain't certain of what me be sayin until me has already said it; then it's too late to say anything else. I think we are blessed to have been given the opportunity to make positive changes on our lives. And ~smiling~ it's much easier to talk about it now that we made it to the "other side" :-)

I'd like this Iraq story to be considered a success too..as difficult as it is...I want them to succeed.leeleehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17659647396847327564noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21876673.post-56177411920339506332007-02-10T10:19:00.000-05:002007-02-10T10:19:00.000-05:00P...thank you for your thoughts...as I say...I don...P...thank you for your thoughts...as I say...I don't mind getting personal...that's the beauty of this blog..I can put out what I want..the reader has the option to read or not...give a hoot or not. I have nothing to hide. Well perhaps a thing or two. I read other blogs and they seemt o chronicle their daily life..I figure my daily life is too dull to chronicle, so I wait to unleash the big stuff :-)

I do question though your metaphorical question however....do you think that my solution is to NOT help another? I don't feel that way at all. I am happy to have my country ASSIST another country in getting on track..I just feel that at some point you have to let the assistee CREATE their own reality...whatever way that may be..I don't like to use the word "help" for it implies that the receiver is helpless. I prefer to "assist".

Thanks for your comment Scary..I appreciate your taking the time to read my lengthy post and to comment on it.leeleehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17659647396847327564noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21876673.post-69837741941294007582007-02-09T18:23:00.000-05:002007-02-09T18:23:00.000-05:00You have put quite a lot of your personal feelings...You have put quite a lot of your personal feelings and revealed an incridible amout of personal information in order to construct this post. Me hope that people will read it with understanding and and intelligence. (a lot of the "windows" out there look into insane asylums) Me truly likes ypour analogy, but Me has to ask one thing.
