Back in the 80's my friends and I used to spend most every weekend at our friend Bob's parents lake house in the Pocono's. We were all single, young and free. Needless to say, if those walls could talk....yikes!! But really we always had a wonderful time. We decided to get together last weekend while I was up..we brought out all the old pictures, left kids and spouses at home and had a mini "kids" reunion.
end of day and end of a great weekend!

Kind of like a scene out of "The Big Chill".
That was a lot of venison on the hoof BTW.
We said that too Phos...
gmta (great minds think alike)
PK is dead on with that "Big Chill" comment. I, on the other hand, was reminded of a schmaltzy beer commercials or two.
To your credit, at least no one was wearing a patterned sweater or sitting on the arm of the couch next to the fire. That would've pushed me over the edge.
we had a mass patterned sweater burning a number of years ago..and just for good measure, we threw in our Member's Only jackets...the glow from the acetate could be seen for miles..as a matter of fact, it may still be smoldering..
It is nice to renew old acquaintances. I'd be down with that if I had any friends...
you can call me a friend Phos..and I don't believe that you don't have any others...what, with your wit and charm...and cooking skills???????
You haven't seen me without my mask... Kidding aside I do consider you a friend and enjoy our visits.
what a fun sounding weekend...and does everyone know a bob in the poconos?? ;-)
Mask or no mask..I just like ya Phos..
EJ _ There are an abundance of Bob's in the Pocono's, but I think mine is the best!! lol
