Ok..Ok...sorry!

Hi friends...sorry about not posting anything lately...Vinny commented on the last post that he hoped I was not still stuck in the car...lol...No I'm not.

Last week I was super busy doing the Miami Beach Antique show. I'm happy to say it was a success, which is great considering the financial times we are in these days.

Here are some photos of my experience:

This was the hall we were in at the convention center. I thought it was cool that it is named after Muhammad Ali!

Here we have our booth:

We have walls and floors that we bring...makes it look really nice and inviting! It's our home away from home for a week.

Oh and this is what makes it all worthwhile..A fresh and hot Soft Pretzel with yellow mustard for dipping. YUM!!!

Thanks all... for your patience during my "busy time"

HUGS!!

Sorry I couldn't make it again this year. I made the mistake of stopping at the competing show at the "Smokin' Joe Frazier" Hall of Rivals" across the street, and got cornered.

I have a feeling we'd have a good time at the gym together :) I need to re-join and take a girlfriend with me...it would keep me accountable and make it even more fun. I was never a gym rat- and it shows, but I loved what I did there last year.

The Peacock is FAB! Love the little glimpses into what's in your life. It really is what makes blogging special :)

Hugs :)

Do those shows only do antiques or do they have Americana collectibles as well? Keep an eye out for old crayon boxes for me. I collect them, you know. Have over 3000 different boxes some going back to the 1800s.

Hope your show was a great success. You certainly had some beautiful pieces on display.

The Miami beach show doesn't have much in teh way of collectibles. Those are found more often at smaller shows and flea markets VE. But I'll keep an eye out...do you really collect those?

Serena - we had a good show, thankflly!! Thanks hon!

It looks like you have a few Monets and maybe a Picasso for sale there. How much are you asking?
