Tag-a-licious

This is a Christmastime assignment from Eccentric Recluse. He tagged me, with the following instructions:

1. Grab the book closest to you.
2. Open to page 123 and go down to the fifth sentence.
3. Post the text of next 3 sentences on your blog.
4. Name the book and the author.
5. Tag some people.

Ok here's mine:

"She wondered if she should call Strathmore; the commander could simply kick Hale out-afterall is was Saturday. Susan knew, however, that if Hale got kicked out, he would immediately becaome suspicious. Once dismissed, he probably would start calling other cryptographers asking what they thought was going on."

Digital Fortress - Dan Brown

Okay, I'll play. Even though you didn't tag me; and even though I'm breaking the rules by not posting it on my blog. I'm a rebel that way.

P - the ONLY reason I didn't tag you honey is that YOU are sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo busy with work..and of course as of this writing your loyal readers are STILL waiting for your remaining 3 Weird things..(They sure are getting anxious over there in WOWCIBTW). I digress....I like your selection..it's a good teaser...when does the book/story come out and is it loosely based on anyone I know?????????

ok,
i won't
play because
you didn't tag me

but i won't play if you do -- and if any doubt my resolve, then let them understand, i have a lamb and i'm not afraid to use it...

thank you, leelee, for not tagging me

oh, and all best of the season!

/t.

leelee said...

/t!!! I didn't tag YOU because you were tagged already the LAST time I tagged you...the last thing I want to be is annoying!!

I'm sorry, did you threaten me with a lamb?

Anonymous said...

wasn't
thinking
of you, re:
the awesome lamb,
because you didn't tag me -- but i think i might have threatened to send the lamb to eat your lawn the last time you tagged me... so, i guess that was enough then :)

/t.

puerileuwaite said...

Oh, not to worry. Everyone will be in it.

leelee said...

Oh I look forward to THAT!

leelee said...

/t - I could actually use the lamb to eat my lawn, it's still green and growing here in South Florida!

Little Lamb said...

/t. is using me and calling me an "it!" I am not an "it!" I do have feelings. I am a living being.

leelee said...

Hi Little Lamb,

Thank you for stopping by my blog. Honestly, I don't think /t meant anything disrespectful. Of course you have feelings.

Merry Christmas.

puerileuwaite said...

Lamby has feelings? I seem to have missed that particular memo.

I'm kidding, of course.

leelee said...

P! don't start trouble!

Little Lamb said...

Merry Christmas, leelee. Sometimes I wonder about /t., but I always wonder aboyut that pug. :)

leelee said...

I only read comics - they only have about 60 pages and are a little short on dialogue....

leelee said...

Well, thanks for THINKING about playing just the same :-)

leelee said...

/t - Thank so much for your holiday wishes!!

And I wish the same for you and yours.

Not to worry, the lamb is always welcome here..

Tried it...the book closest to me was some Agatha Christie novel that I have never read...

If I were to type the sentences as you wish, you would see WHY I've never read it.

I'll take a pass

leelee said...

Thanks /t...hmmmm I think I like the name tag-a-licious..

Happy New Year to you and LL as well!!

leelee said...

JL4 - thanks for "attempting" anyway...I thought I would give you a "payback" tag for tagging me..

it's ok if you don't want to play.....I guess
