It was great!!

Last night Hubs and I finally got to see Bruce and the E Street Band. It was a wonderful show. 3 hours non-stop. The energy was incredible..the music second to none. They opened the show with a beautiful and fitting tribute to the Late Danny Federici, a video shown while Bruce was singing Blood Brothers...then they went right into the rest of the show:

Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band ended it's U.S. leg of the winter-spring tour on Friday night at the Bank Atlantic Center in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.Looks like a solid show on paper, with "I Wanna Be With You" a tour premiere and "This Hard Land" being played for only the second time this tour.Another surprise was a song being played after the usual closer "American Land." "Kitty's Back" was played in the final spot, only the second time this tour Bruce has played another song to close the show.

That's cool, you finally got to see him. It's been about three years since I caught him here in Portland. Looks like he did another nice long show. Did he come out anywhere close to on time? i remember him being rediculusly late when I saw him.

Jeff,

the concert was schedueled for 7:30..but I figured they'd be late. They started at 8:30 which wasn't too bad seeing that we all had to get patted down before entering the arena..what a scene. Apparently there was a bomb threat at a recent Bon Jovi concert...anyway...yes they played 3 hours non stop...amazing!

HUGS!!
