And awaaaaaaaaaaay we go!!!!!

It's that time of year again...when I start checking the National Hurricane Center/NOAA website numerous times each day. As you can see from the image, most of the computer models have this system heading straight for MY HOUSE!

Thankfully I am prepared..and have been through this before..and most importantly, this isn't even named yet..so chances are it won't be too bad..but it's a reminder that some things are just out of my control. The universe keeps sending me this message...maybe I should start listening.

Have a good weekend..I'll keep you posted.

Can't you just have a giant plexiglass bubble that retracts from the ground and then seals up when a storm comes?

Keep an eye out for that thing! Be careful.

One of many things I like about Southern Nevada - no severe weather. An occasional flash flood, but not usually in this end of town (WAAYYY downhill from the mountain on the way to the lake!).

Stay safe and dry.

This is the perfect time to shut up the house and head back north where the weather might be crappy, but it ain't deadly.
