Last Night's Movie - Tsotsi

P is right, I listed this with no review..silly me..

TSOTSI is a jewel of a film. Though set in Johannesburg, South Africa, the story is unfortunately so universal that the film could have been made in any country in the world: the lost children of abusive parents who survive life by relying on crime fill the streets of the poor neighborhoods of all major cities. TSOTSI is a tragedy but it carries a sense of hope and redemption that makes it a powerful statement indeed.

I see that you gave it a "thumbs up". But WHERE is the review? I have to be very careful these days after being crisply burnt by "Because of Winn Dixie".

Leelee, I've spent some time thinking about this one. The name was intriguing. So I've decided to seek financing for my own film project.

"Tchotckies" will be the story of my quest to make a jewel of a film, while trying to seek financing for it.

Oh P, how sweet of you to ask...sure everything is fine..I'm just mired in HOT and humid late summer doldrums. It's too hot to even be creative..

Thanks for caring :-)
