I voted to banish it. I think I did that only because I like to say the words "space trash." If there's someone I really don't like I call them "space trash." Honestly, I don't care what they do with the ball. Barry Steroid Bonds. I really don't think they should be littering outer space.
The MLB Hall of Fame should have it, but I'm sure it will go to a wealthy bidder. I hope at least some of the ridiculous price will go to som worthy cause, like sacrificing goats to the baseball gods in hope that someone (even Alex Rodriguez) breaks Bonds' record as quickly as possible and restores some meaning to the record.
Corn I can understand your frustration...and you are from Giants territory.
I myself voted to "brand it" and send it to the hall of fame..so all can see that the record is...shall we say ..tainted.
Ian, welcome!! I understand the fellow who won the ball at auction paid over 750K for it. I'm not sure what the seller did with the $$ let's hope it went to some worthy cause. Thanks for stopping by!!
